Actually , after many days I was going on the stage for group discussion . Before going for it we had seen a demo. Demo was given by my classmates to make us understand ,' What is Group Discussion ?'. The topic which was given to them was 'AADHAR card does have any future in India '.
Whatever discussion we did was fantastic and enjoyed a lot , Our trainer Mr.Arjun Vellal put some points on that topic & He was talking from both the sides like advantages & disadvantages. Magic was that when he was talking in favor of AADHAR card , we were thinking that he is right but when he started to talk against that point of view was also a good . It does not mean that we could not break his points but I found that the strength of our point can not put his point of view back.
In this group discussion I learnt few things regarding GD's
- We should introduce ourselves by taking initiative and Start GD
- We must have to be firm on the either side of the topic
- Posture and gesture also creates a good impact on the people in GD
- Main thing is we should aware of the topic
- If you are able to present your views from both the sides of the topic , then you should select tougher side
- Proper eye contact creates an impression (Proper eye contact doesn't mean staring)
- Fluency in Language
